As reviewed in the Lancet, more men than women appear to be dying from COVID19. This appears to be the case in Italy as well as in China. This could be due to a variety of factors, ranging from immunological differences between men and women to social patterns like smoking

The View from Gibson – Spring, Hope and Our First Heroes and Helpers
One Tulanian who epitomizes this is Angela Birnbaum, director of the Tulane Office of Biosafety. Through Angie’s tireless efforts, she has established a biosafety program at the Tulane National Primate Research Center that is a national model and supports one of the nation's leading efforts to develop a vaccine, tests and treatments for COVID-19. But, in addition to these important responsibilities, she has gone far above and beyond the scope of her normal duties to develop a process to decontaminate critically needed N95 and other protective masks so that they can be reused by frontline doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. In doing so, she has mitigated a dangerous shortage of equipment that is central to keeping our health care professionals safe.

Q & A in Spanish for COVID19 - Prevención y cuarentena

The Governor of Louisiana gave a press conference.  In attendance was the LSU Head coach to provide guidance on the "game plan" about a virus which public health officials are unsure about methods of exact transmission and no treatments are currently available.  In other states, these types of press conferences are led by credentialed public health officials, like medical doctors.

Toward an auspicious future, Tulane University is expanding very fast.  Like emerging economies of the 1970s, it is attracting talent all over the nation.  What we know now is that those expansions had a high cost of human rights abuses.  The local news reported on the use of coercion for the greater good: the coerced quarantine of a Tulane student.   The  quarantine occurred before receipt of lab results of the Covid virus.  It was based on a  subjective review. In medicine, the objective assessment must be used.  The university spokesperson stated that the student was "free" to leave and she was not under "lock and key."  We know from testimonies of victims of human trafficking that you do not need a lock and key to imprison anyone. This should be concerning to anyone with pride in shared American values encoded in the Constitution.  We are not supposed to imprison anyone based on conjectures.

Understanding SOAP format for Clinical Rounds

The use of the objective is necessary.  What occured in the above example was
S: Subjective
A: Action
O: Objective

SAO does not equal SOAP.
